Creating Free Code Templates For a Country
You can create free text templates that can be used for booking and full air waybill capture. The Free Codes for Country screen provides a facility to store text templates for a specific country.
- Navigate to the Free Codes for Country screen. You can do this by clicking .

In the Free Codes for Country screen, you can create,
modify, or delete free text templates according to country.
- To modify a record, perform a query then select the record from the Record List pane then click Edit F2.
- To add a record, click Add (Ins).
- To delete a record, select the message from the Record List pane then click Delete (DEL).

Enter or modify the fields accordingly.
Option Description Country The country where the free code applies. For example, GB for United Kingdom. Users with the appropriate duty code can enter an empty country to make the code applicable to all stations. You can retrieve available codes from the database. Clicking 
navigates you to the Search
Countries Codes screen.Type Select the appropriate Type form the drop-down menu: - Nature of Goods
- Customs Reference
- Special Handling Info
- Other Service Information
Text Use the Text field to enter a detailed description of the free code. Handling Code A default Handling Charges code can be linked to the Nature of Goods type. The handling charges code entered here will be used automatically in the Import Handling Charges calculation. SHC A default Special Handling Code can be linked to the Nature of Goods type. This code is automatically displayed in the SHC field when a new AWB record is captured. Price Class A default Price Class associated with the Special Handling Code can be linked to the Nature of Goods type. This code is automatically displayed in the Price Class field when a new AWB record is captured. - Click OK.
