Bank holidays for a specific station are saved in the system as bank holiday records. You can create or modify records in the Bank Holiday screen.
Freight documentation such as Notification To Captain (NOTOC), Pallet Weight Statement (PWS), and Manifest are sent to specific email recipients during the flight manifest process. You can configure the email parameters for sending NOTOCs, PWSs, and manifests in the Master Data > Others > Manifest Email screen.
You can create free text templates that can be used for booking and full air waybill capture. The Free Codes for Country screen provides a facility to store text templates for a specific country.
You can create free text message templates that can be used for messaging in Master Data > Others > Free Text Message Templates. Message templates created in the Free Text Message Templates screen can be used from screens where the Send Message button is available by using FTX in the code field or when sending messages using Main > Send Free Text Message.
The Valuation field can be entered manually or the calculation can be automatic depending on a preconfigured valuation calculation. These valuation calculations are defined in the Master Data > Others > Valuation screen.
Reports and receipts from handheld terminals can be printed in the office by setting automatic email notifications. You can set automatic email notifications in the Report Email screen.
When properly configured, the application system displays the remaining available capacity on flights listed in the Availability tab of the Booking screen by highlighting the rows in different colors depending on the remaining capacity. You can set the thresholds of used capacity percentages that are going to fall into the particular colors in Master Data > Others > Flight Utilization.
You can define special volumetric divisors to particular airports in Master Data > Others > Volumetric Divisor. You need the appropriate duty code to be able to create or modify special volumetric divisors.
Before a cargo is accepted for air transportation, this procedure is necessary in setting up and verifying the list of Ready for Carriage items.
The Irregularity Codes can be set up in the Irregularities tab of the Booking screen. The Irregularities Code screen can only be accessed by clicking the Irregularities Code link.
You can create Special Handling Codes (SHC) in the SHC screen. The SHC screen is accessible upon clicking the SHC link from several screens, such as in the Booking screen or in the Export Acceptance screen.
You can create security profiles to define what screening methods are needed for certain shipments in the Security Profile screen, which is accessible by clicking the profile hyperlink beside the SEC button in the Acceptance screen.
The Master Data > Others > DGM Flight Limits screen provides users with a facility to set a limit per flight for a specific UN number.
The Master Data > Others > DGM Overridescreen provides users with a facility to override some settings loaded from the DGM files.
Logos used in reports can be uploaded and saved in the system as report image records. You can create, modify, or delete report image records in the Report Images screen.
The Program.ini screen provides a facility for viewing the system's program.ini settings. You can click Options > Admin > Program.ini to view the program.ini entries on the system. The Program.ini screen is only accessible to users with the appropriate duty codes.
Server threads are listed on the Options > Admin > Server Thread Admin screen. You can clear, start, pause, or stop threads from the Threads screen as necessary. The Threads screen is only accessible to users with the appropriate duty codes.
Users with the appropriate duty codes can post a news message. The news message can be seen by currently logged on users in the News Message pane at the top right of the application.
Users with the appropriate duty codes can create a system alert message that is displayed upon logging on to the system. System alerts are configured in Options > Admin > System Alert.
The GCG Usage screen provides a facility for viewing Global Customs Gateway or GCG usage for sending messages. You can click Options > Admin > GCG Usage to view the GCG details. The GCG Usage screen is only accessible to users with the appropriate duty codes.
Several entries in the program.ini file define the colors used in the User Interface. You can select your own colors, use a CHAMP recommended color scheme, or retain the existing Cargospot Classic look.
