Setting Automatic Email Notifications for Printing Handheld Reports

Reports and receipts from handheld terminals can be printed in the office by setting automatic email notifications. You can set automatic email notifications in the Report Email screen.

  1. Navigate to the Report Email screen. Click Master Data > Others > Report Email.
  2. In the Report Email screen, you can create, modify, or delete email notification settings for reports and actions. You can only create and modify the settings of your main station.
    • To modify a record, select the record from the Record List pane then click Edit F2.
    • To create a record, click Add (Ins).
    • To delete a record, select the record from the Record List pane then click Delete (DEL).
  3. Enter or modify the fields accordingly.
    Option Description
    Station The station code. This field is automatically populated and it defines the main station of the user. For example, LHR.
    Office The office code of the user where the report is printed. This field is optional.
    Carrier The carrier code. This field is optional.
    Report Name The name of the report or receipt to be printed. Clicking navigates you to the Search report_name window.
    Client Type Use the Client Type drop-down menu to specify the type of client where the report is generated. Select a type from the drop-down menu:
    • Cargospot Client
    • Handheld Terminal
    Attach The Attach drop-down menu specifies how the report is sent. The attach setting or option can be any of the following:
    • Attach to Email - this setting sends the generated PDF file as an email attachment
    • Put URL in text - this setting includes the URL of the report at the bottom of the email
    Email Address(es) The Email Address(es) field defines the recipient e-mail addresses for the reports. The reports are mainly sent for printing. Multiple addresses can be specified and are separated with a ;.

    For example, support@cargospot.com;enhancements@cargospot.com.

    Subject Enter the Subject of the e-mail. For example, Delivery Receipt Attached For Printing.
    Email Text Use the Email Text field to enter the information or content of the e-mail.
  4. Click OK to save the email notification settings for the report.
