Configuring Carrier Messages

All messages sent to or from a Carrier need to be configured. Various message types can be sent from the system, for example, Type B (SITA) and email messages. In addition, the system can be set to transmit to FAX numbers. Both SITA and email addresses can be used in combination and sent to multiple addresses.

  1. Navigate to the Carriers screen. Click Master Data > Carriers.
  2. Query the carrier where you want to configure messages.
  3. Click Message Address.
  4. In the Message Address tab, existing message configurations are listed in the Record List pane. In this tab you can create, modify, or delete message configurations.
    • To modify an existing message configuration, select the configuration from the Record List pane then click Edit F2.
    • To create a new message configuration, click Add (Ins).
    • To delete a message configuration, select the configuration from the Record List pane then click Delete (DEL).
  5. Enter or modify the message configuration fields accordingly.
  6. Click OK to save the modified or created message configuration.
Whenever the message is generated, the message is sent to the defined addresses automatically.
