Charges Collect Fees

According to IATA rules, Charges Collect Fees or CC fees are assessed and accrued by the last carrier of a shipment. Each airport of destination can have CC fees set up in Master Data > Others > CC Fee.

Each record in the CC Fee screen applies to a specific country code.

Carrier

Optional field. When left blank, the Percent, Minimum, and Maximum values in the CC fee record is applicable to all carriers.

Specify a Carrier to make the CC fee record applicable only to that carrier. This record is used in CC Fee calculation when the specified carrier in the CC fee record is the last carrier of the CC import AWB.
Percent The CC fee percentage.
Minimum The minimum CC amount applicable.
Maximum The maximum CC amount applicable.

By default, the CC fee for import AWBs is calculated using the values set up in the CC Fee screen. It is, however, possible to have the CC fee overridden by a Forwarder's No CC Fee setting. The CC fee is not calculated for import agents whose Forwarder setting is set to No CC Fee.

It is also possible to affect the behavior of CC fee calculation at the station level with the CC-Fee with field in Master Data > Others > Station Setting. If the CC-Fee with setting of the destination station of the import AWB is set to No CC Fee at all, the CC fee is not calculated.
